Murrumbidgee Mental Health Multidisciplinary Team Service

This notification has been issued to inform the market that Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) will be releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Murrumbidgee Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary Team Service in General Practice service, called Better. Together.

The service will operate as a hub and spoke model. Service hubs will be located in Wagga Wagga, Young, Griffith and Deniliquin, with mental health multidisciplinary services delivered from the central service hub locations into spokes located within general practices in all 21 Local government Areas (LGAs) across the region.

MPHN will support the Lead Contractor(s) to engage with general practices in spoke locations.

Better. Together. will provide a range of clinical and non-clinical mental health supports including clinical interventions, care coordination and navigation, team care support, and social prescribing. The service must be clinically appropriate to support people in primary care, with severe and/or complex mental health needs.

MPHN are seeking to engage a Lead Contractor(s) to deliver this activity. Organisations may propose to act as the Lead Contractor for a consortium or network of private providers and/or to offer Lead Contractor services across one, some or all hub locations.
