Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for mowing services required at various cemeteries across the Sunshine Coast Council region.

This contract consists of 12 separable portions:

  •  Separable Portion A – Buderim Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion B – Caloundra Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion C – Eumundi Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion D – Gheerulla Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion E – Witta Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion F – Yandina Cemetery
  •  Separable Portion G – Beerburrum, Beerwah and Peachester Cemeteries
  •  Separable Portion H – Diddillibah and Woombye Cemeteries
  •  Separable Portion I – Flaxton and Mapleton Cemeteries
  •  Separable Portion J – Landsborough and Mooloolah Cemeteries
  •  Separable Portion K – Nambour Garden and Old Nambour Cemeteries
  • Separable Portion L – Kulangoor Cemeteries

Respondents can submit tenders for one (1), all or any combination of Separable Portions.

The successful contractor/s will be required to perform scheduled mowing (broadacre mowing, mulch mowing, catcher mowing and/or slashing) and detailing (including edging, blowing down and removal of debris). Services provided are expected to be of a high standard to meet community expectations.

This is a schedule of rates contract, commencing on 1 July 2026 and expiring 30 June 2029, with two (2) further extension options, each of up to 12 months, at Council’s sole discretion. The Rates are firm for the first twelve (12) months of the Contract, and then subject to Rise or Fall annually by applying the formula in Schedule 1 in the attached Terms and Conditions

Respondents are encouraged to inspect all sites for which they are tendering for to satisfy themselves of the characteristics and conditions for each site. Any site inspection must be arranged with Council’s cemetery prior, and such inspections shall be conducted in a professional manner, being mindful of any visitors to the site.
