Tender Description
Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced engineering consultants for the delivery of construction documentation and associated inspections for a DA-approved commercial development in Sydney.
Consultants may apply for individual disciplines or as a multi-disciplinary team.
Project Overview
The project comprises:
• Construction of a 3-storey commercial cold shell building with a single basement
• Type A construction including lift installation, services integration, and public domain works
• GFA: approximately 1,700m² (excluding basement and service areas)
• Three street frontages requiring coordinated civil and public domain works
Key works include reinforced concrete structure, basement construction, stormwater infrastructure and footpath/driveway upgrades.

Scope of Services
• Preparation of construction (CC/IFC) documentation
• Design coordination with architect and consultant team
• Authority coordination and approvals (as required)
• Review of shop drawings
• Construction phase services including site inspections and certification
Applicant Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
• Company profile, capability statement and nominated project lead
• CVs of lead engineers
• Relevant professional registrations and insurances
• 3–5 relevant project examples of similar scale
• Recent references
• Current availability and capacity to undertake the works
Relevant experience should include (as applicable):
• Structural systems (flat slab/flat plate, shoring, awnings, Dincel wall systems)
• Civil, stormwater and public domain works (footpaths, driveways, drainage)
• Mechanical services (HVAC systems, plant coordination, ventilation strategies)
• Electrical services (power supply, lighting, communications, authority coordination)
• Hydraulic services (water, sewer, roof drainage, pump-out systems)
• Fire services (performance solutions, fire strategy, NCC compliance, coordination with BCA)
