Network Infrastructure – Firewalls

INTRODUCTION

Flinders University is seeking resellers for Fortinet, Cisco, & Palo Alto Firewalls, that would be interested in providing a proposal for the supply, implementation and support of a modern next-generation firewall solution.

The Universitys requirement is for two high-availability firewall pairs:

• one external firewall pair
• one internal firewall pair
• centralised cloud-based management and visibility across the proposed solution
• compatibility and interoperability with the Universitys existing network and security environment; and
• an implementation approach that supports transition from the current environment with minimal disruption to services.

The University is seeking a solution that meets its immediate operational and security requirements while also providing a clear roadmap for future capability uplift, including enhancement of security management, visibility, reporting and broader hybrid mesh firewall capabilities over time.

Resellers for the Universitys firewall refresh are invited to express their interest in this market exercise to the University Representative no later than 2:00pm 25/03/2026.
