Network Infrastructure Upgrade

TEQSA is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to deliver a comprehensive refresh of its network infrastructure and implement a modern Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture. This initiative supports TEQSA’s strategic direction, including its onsite, predominantly remote workforce (80%) and planned expansion into additional states.

The objective is not only to upgrade existing infrastructure but to transition from a traditional perimeter-based network to a cloud aligned, identity centric, scalable security and connectivity model.

Vendors are invited to propose a minimum of two solution options, each demonstrating clear pathways, cost structures, and implementation approaches.

Each design must be accompanied by a detailed analysis of its respective benefits and limitations to support informed decision-making.

The proposed design options must consider:

1. Modernisation of the Current Network Implementation
2. Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)

To facilitate comparison, each design proposal will include:

• A summary of the design
• A statement of technical requirements
• An assessment of the benefits and limitations
• A vendor-agnostic Bill of Materials (BOM)

This structured approach is required to assist TEQSA in selecting the most suitable network architecture to support its future operational and security needs
