Tender Description
Tenders are invited for Form, Reo and Pour (FRP) works on Maitland Bay Drive
The scopes of work generally comprise of the following but not limited to:
- FRP (form, reo, pour) approximately 97m of 3m shared path and 115m of 2.5m wide shared path. Path to be constructed as per Central Coast Council (hereafter referred to as CCC) Standard Drawing SD601 sheet 1 and 4, paying attention to the notes. A crossfall of 1% - 2.5% is needed. Shared path will be 100mm thick. 64m of the 3m shared path will require reinforcement as per sheet SD-0001 of drawing D01. Remainder of shared path will only require SL82 mesh.
- FRP 2 x kerb ramps as per TfNSW Standard Drawing R0300-11. Refer to CCC Standard Drawing SD502 sheet 2 concrete note 4 for colouring (Yorkside) of kerb ramps.
- Set up of set out points for kerb installation with assistance from surveyor.
- Extrude approximately 157m of TfNSW SA Kerb. Kerb profiles are as per RD-0022.
- FRP 91m of footing for Type F barrier.
- Slipform 91m of Type F barrier. This will include some transitions as per RD-0023 and an end terminal as per Standard Drawing R0720-10 (attached in documents).
- The contractor will be responsible for setting and finishing the kerb inlets. TfNSW will supply the lintel and grates for stormwater pits.
- Form and pour the roundabout as per design. A pour plan will be made in conjunction with the awarded contractor.
- Form and pour 5 x concrete islands and medians when AC level is 50mm below FSL to allow the medians to be tied in with the final layer of AC.
- The contractor will supply all materials (concrete, reinforcement, bar chairs, formwork), machinery and labour for the works described in this contract.
- Transport for NSW will prep the area ready for the contractor, i.e. prep subgrade to kerb, footpath and roundabout.
- The contractor is responsible for providing all tools required to complete the work as part of the shift, i.e. formwork, screed, tools required for steel fixing, installing formwork, installing reinforcement with bar chairs, pouring concrete, curing concrete and finishing concrete.
- TfNSW will mark the location of utilities on site.
- The Warranty period is 12 months.
- Traffic Control to be supplied by TfNSW. MWSRT
- Implementation and operation of Management Systems for elements of quality, environment, safety, community, industrial relations, programming, records, etc .
- All personnel engaged on the works must be appropriately trained and in possession appropriate tickets.

- Contractor is to ensure that any disturbances caused because of these works, direct or otherwise, are made good prior to the completion of contracted works.
