Independent Chair and Independent Member Audit & Risk Committee

Monash Council is seeking to appoint an Independent Chair and an Independent Member to join its Audit & Risk Committee.

The Audit & Risk Committee is an independent advisory committee to Council, comprising five members: two Councillors and three independent members (including the Chair).

Independent members are appointed for a fixed three-year term in accordance with the Audit & Risk Committee Charter.

Applicants should demonstrate capability in the Committee's priority skill areas, including risk management, cybersecurity, data and assurance technology, business continuity, Workplace Health and Safety, and integrity/probity. Local government experience will be looked at favourably.
