Data Strategy Consultancy Services

Development Victoria is seeking responses to this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Data Strategy Consultancy Services.

The organisation seeks to develop a comprehensive enterprise data strategy that positions data as a strategic asset to support operational excellence, evidence-based decision-making, innovation, and long-term organisational outcomes.

This engagement seeks to go beyond a mere technology review and, as a result, we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant to undertake a comprehensive assessment of Development Victoria’s data governance, data management, and data architecture with a view to better manage and leverage data across the enterprise.

The Consultant will be required to evaluate current practices across governance structures, ownership and accountability, data quality, systems architecture, metadata and records management, security, compliance, and organisational capability, drawing on recognised industry frameworks and benchmarking approaches. The outcomes of this assessment will inform the design of a fit ‑ for ‑ purpose target ‑ state data governance and operating model, together with a prioritised 6–24 ‑ month implementation roadmap and an executive ‑ level presentation summarising key risks, findings, and recommended next steps.
