Tender Description
This RFP relates to the procurement of a 3D Printer – Robotic Metal Arc for educational delivery at the TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoEs).
Project goals
TAFE NSW are taking a two-stage process to engage an appropriate supplier.
- Stage 1 – Registration for Opportunity - see document
- Stage 2 – TAFE NSW will issue an invitation to the RFP via TAFE NSW Ariba
Scope
TAFE NSW is seeking a 3D Printer – Robotic Metal Arc. This printer will support educational delivery at the Wetherill Park MCoE, with an option to supply additional units across NSW if required. As a guide the specifications are:
- System footprint: No more than 5 metres wide x 4 metres long x 2 metres high
- Reach: approximately 1.5 metres
- Maximum build envelope of no more than 1 x 1 metre
- Weight capacity: less than or equal to 500 kg
- Axis: no more than 8 (with positioner)
