The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a solid shade structure over the top of two existing basketball courts at Upper Coomera State College, located at 137 Reserve Rd, Upper Coomera QLD 4209, as part of the Go for Gold (GFG) program.
The scope of works consists but is not limited to the resurface of the existing basketball courts, line marking, construction of solid shade structure including associated hydraulics works.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1m.
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance.
Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
