Construction – Waddy Point Barracks Refit

⁠⁠⁠The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) invite suitably qualified suppliers to submit an offer for P263691- Construction – Waddy Point Barracks Refit.

QPWS&P are seeking to engage a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake construction works for the Waddy Point Barracks on K’gari, within Great Sandy National Park. The Contractor will assume the role of Principal Contractor.

Last date for Supplier Clarifications: 2:00pm Queensland Time on Friday, 20 March 2026

Tender Closing Date: 2.00pm Queensland Time on Wednesday, 25 March 2026

Optional Site Visit: 11:30am Queensland Time on Thursday, 12 March 2026

Minimum eligibility requirements are as follows:

• QBCC Licensing, registration and accreditation

• Copy of Certificate of Currency of required insurance policies

Tenderers are advised that the following may apply to the project:

• Queensland Government Building and Construction Training Policy

• Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 Project Trust Accounts

• Occupational Health and Safety Audits for Queensland Government building projects

Optional Site Visit

This Request for Tender has an optional site visit on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

Tenderers will meet at the Waddy Point Ranger Base at 11:30am.

Two (2) representatives per company permitted to attend.
