Concreting - Panel of Suppliers

Yarriambiack Shire Council is seeking to appoint a panel of suppliers who are appropriately experienced to provide one or more of the following concreting services as required across the Shire:-

• General Concreting Services (for the laying of concrete slabs, drains, footings or building specific components, etc and all aspects in relation to these types of services;
• New footpath construction and/or maintenance of existing footpath infrastructure;
• Kerb & Channel works (ie replacement and construction).

Works under this Contract are not guaranteed and will be on an “as required” basis.

The Contract will be awarded for an initial five (5) year period with an option, at Council’s sole discretion, to offer a further two x one year extensions (up to a maximum of seven (7) years).

Pricing will be based on a Schedule of Rates for each year of the contract period.

Yarriambiack Shire Council anticipates that tenderers appointed to this panel who opt to provide General Concreting Services could be drawn on for a wide variety of projects at (as an example):-

• Community/public facilities;
• Public amenities and public space developments;
• Council offices, buildings, depots and the Warracknabeal Livestock Exchange.

The type of works may include (but not limited to):-

• Repairs, additions, removal, replacement;
• Small/Large structure construction (ie gazebos, ramps, bunker style walls and bunding)
• Slab construction, footings.

 Tenderers who opt to provide Footpath and/or Kerb & Channel Works may be used to provide:-

• New footpath construction and/or maintenance of existing footpath infrastructure;
• Kerb & Channel works (ie replacement and construction);
• Gravel and crushed rock pavements;
• Backfilling with soil and top soil;
• Bitumen and asphalt sealing.
