Supply & Install of Paid Parking Machines

The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking a suitability qualified supplier for the supply and install of new Parking Machines for its CBD area, the contract will include the associated parking management software/systems, to provide a totally managed and integrated parking offer for Council.

The contract must include the provision of hardware, firmware and software to operate the machines, as well as the associated service in maintaining and supporting the day to day operation of the machines.

Council at its December 2025 meeting voted to re-install physical paid parking machines to theCBD area in selected high use areas only to support options on how to pay for parking in Wangaratta. Currently there are two ways to pay for parking:- 1. App based (EasyPark) and Voucher system (Council supplied: Weekly, 6-Monthly and Yearly. Reintroducing the physical parking machines will provide another way to pay for those that can’t use the app or not local to buy vouchers.

Councils is looking install new machines that are touch and go (no coins) with option to print/send receipts (on demand) and have software that can be integrated into Councils IT systems effortlessly.

This tender is requesting costing for the supply and installation of TEN Parking Machines, along with the ongoing service and maintenance requirements for the machines.

The scope for this project is as follows:

• The supply and install of 10 parking machines (locations to be confirmed)
• Payments: card / phone
• Contract will be for 5 years with an option for additional 2 years.
• This will be a fixed price contract for the supply and Install of machines
• Software (Licence) and Maintance terms to be set accordingly
