Provision and Operation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at 34 High Street, Mansfield VIC

Mansfield Shire Council has completed the development of a new public car park located at 34 High Street, Mansfield, Victoria. The carpark has been strategically positioned within close proximity to the Town centre and key community and commercial amenities.

As a part of this development, provisions have been made to support the future installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, in recognition of the increasing adoption of electric vehicles and the growing demand for public charging facilities within regional centres.

Between 2 to 6 car parking bays within the site have been identified as suitable for EV charging as shown in section 5.1, with electrical conduit already being installed underground from Collopy Street to facilitate efficient connection to the AusNet power network.

Mansfield Shire Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest from providers to deliver, operate and manage EV charging infrastructure at this location.
