Commercial Activation and Operation of the Historic Goods Shed and Visitor Information Centre

The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to invite commercial, community and not for profit organisations to propose the activation and operation of enterprise(s) within one or more Council owned buildings, assets or spaces located in the Mansfield Station Precinct.

Mansfield Shire Council (MSC) is seeking proposals from interested proponents to enter into an occupancy agreement such as a lease, licence, or similar arrangement to utilise and activate Council owned buildings, assets, or spaces within the Mansfield Station Precinct.

MSC invites organisations to propose enterprises or activities that will operate within one or more of these assets and contribute positively to the precinct's vision, community value, and overall visitor experience.

This EOI specifically relates to the following assets within the Station Precinct at 22 Walker Street, Mansfield VIC 3722

The Historic Goods Shed available from 2026.

The current Visitor Information Centre (VIC) available from late 2026, following the completion and commissioning of the new Mansfield Heritage Museum.

These assets represent significant opportunities for innovative activation, community use, tourism services, cultural programming, hospitality, recreation based operations, or complementary commercial activity aligned with the precinct's strategic direction based operations or complementary commercial activity aligned with the precinct's strategic direction.
