Requirements

• provide, test, and optimise appropriate equipment and software required to provide the Services
• provide support and maintenance for all equipment and third-party software used to provide the Services
• process the workload and provide operations control and monitoring. The Buyer, at its sole discretion, from time to time may change the Applications Software (including additions, deletions, and modifications) and workload
• change capacity and equipment as required in this Statement of Requirements and as necessary to process the workload and perform the Services;
• cooperate with and provide advice and assistance to the Buyer personnel in relation to performance of the Services and when planning, executing or resolving issues related to the Buyer's Applications as per the SLAs
• provide and be responsible for TCP/IP communications services from the Buyer LPAR to communications equipment provided by the Buyer located in the Seller premises. The Buyer will be responsible for providing and managing the communications from the Seller's premises to the Buyer's premises in Canberra. Facilities are to be provided at the Seller premises for the Buyer's telecommunications and network equipment. The Buyer will install and manage such communication equipment as necessary. The Seller will allow the Buyer access and entry to perform the installation;
• provide, manage and operate resilient (diversely pathed) Inter Data Centre Network Links connecting the Buyer's DASD storage at each site to the Alternate Site's storage for the purposes of:

         -enabling Buyer users and applications operating at the Primary Site to (read) access Buyer Data stored or replicated at the Alternate Site;

         -enabling the data protection facilities to operate hardware level data replication for backup and Disaster Recovery requirements; and

         -encrypting all Buyer Data while traversing the links between DASD storage facilities an appropriate protocol and algorithm as described by the ASD ISM.

• plan and document for the Buyer's review and certification a detailed Disengagement Plan which sets out all the activities, milestones, resources, deliverables and timeframes related to disengagement of the Services;
• perform the Disengagement Services in accordance with this Statement of Requirements and the certified Disengagement Plan; and
• provide the Services to meet the requirements set out in Section 3 of this Schedule 1 – Statement of Requirements.
