Turf Maintenance Equipment - Lease, Supply & Maintain

The City of Boroondara Council (Council) is located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, between 5 and 10 kilometres east of the Melbourne CBD.

Council’s Open Space and Trees Department require a broad range of turf maintenance equipment (27 items) to be supplied under a five (5) year fully maintained operating lease arrangement. The plant and equipment which requires to be leased, supplied and maintained, under this new contract award, consists of 23 items which are a direct replacement and 4 new items.

The plant and equipment specified is to be used for the maintenance of the Freeway Golf Course, Councils 54 Sportsgrounds and the Maranoa Gardens. Council is open to considering any equipment that is eco-friendly where such status does not compromise performance.

All equipment, to be replaced, is expected to be current production models of proven performance for which spare parts and servicing are readily available in Melbourne. All component parts, materials and workmanship shall comply with the requirements of current Australian Standards or in their absence British or International Standards. It is the tenderer’s responsibility to familiarise themselves with the duties of each item as Council will not entertain any claim arising from a failure to do so.

Delivery for the equipment is expected in 2026.
