Refurbishment of No 2 Oval amenities

Project Background and Objectives:

Coonabarabran No. 2 Oval amenities, located 1.1 km north of Coonabarabran, are being redeveloped from former greyhound facilities to serve community and sporting users. Council seeks to refurbish and modernise amenities and kitchen areas to meet current operational needs and Australian Standards, improving accessibility, functionality, and long-term usability of the facility.

Tender Scope Overview:

Council invites suitably qualified contractors to undertake design and construction works including the following:

- Preparation of construction-ready, standards-compliant refurbishment designs

- Upgrades to electrical and hydraulic services

- Accessibility improvements including ramps, stairs, and balustrades

- Refurbishment of toilets, amenities, kitchen, and public areas

- Ceiling, facade, finishes, and security door upgrades

- Kitchen ventilation, equipment, and air-conditioning installation

- External works including vegetation removal and compliance upgrades

The project will deliver a renewed, accessible, and future-ready community facility.
