Redcliffe Bulk Haulage

Tenders are invited for Bulk Haulage Services, as set out in the attached documents.

The works generally includes the collection and haulage of general waste from the Redcliffe Waste Management Facility (WMF).

The Redcliffe WMF has an undercover pit area where residents dispose of their waste. Daily, the waste is then compacted on-site and loaded into trucks for haulage to the Caboolture Waste Management Facility.

General deliverables include:

(a) collection of general waste from the Redcliffe Transfer Station (TS);

(b) bulk haulage and disposal of the general waste at Caboolture WMF; and

(c) bulk haulage and disposal of the general waste at Alternative Nominated Waste Management Facilities.

The Council may request the Contractor to haul the general waste to Alternative Waste Management Facilities from time to time and in emergency situations during the term of the Arrangement. These Services will be at the same terms and conditions.

The Alternative Nominated Waste Management Facilities (WMF’S) are as follows:

(a) Dakabin WMF, 336 Old Gympie Road, Dakabin; and

(b) Bunya WMF, 384 Bunya Road, Bunya.
