Veterinary Services Ballarat Animal Shelter

Current state, the City of Ballarat admits up 3000 animals per year and works with several community groups, rescue organisations and schools in the municipality. The City of Ballarat has been operational in the management of the existing facility at 5A Gillingham Place, Alfredton since 1 September 2017 and requires veterinary services to attend all admitted animals.

Future state, once the Ballarat Regional Animal facility is complete the services will alter with a requirement for a qualified in house resource to be provided during business hours. This requirement will be reviewed and discussed with successful bidder based on the rates provided in the pricing schedules.
