Primary Heat Exchanger Installation

Scope of work

(a) The scope of work includes installation of the heat exchanger adjacent to the current heat exchangers as well as the following;

a. Fabricate and install CIP feed and discharge piping including cut and tie into existing CIP piping

b. Fabricate and install feed and discharge piping for distillate and process water piping including bolting up to the preinstalled tie in locations

c. Remove current structural steel and grid mesh and fabricate and replace with new steelwork

d. Fabricate and install all piping supports

e. Removal of structural beam, gland water and sump pipe spool to enable access for crane lifts and reinstate

f. Lift the heat exchanger into place and bolt down and install all valves and piping

g. Commissioning of the heat exchanger

(b) All fabrication design has been completed by Worley Parsons.

(c) Fabrication is required for the following;

a. hot distillate inlet (stainless steel)

b. hot process water discharge (super duplex)

c. Process water inlet (stainless steel)

d. Distillate outlet (stainless steel)

e. CIP inlet (stainless steel)

f. CIP Outlet (stainless)

g. Structural steel and mesh

(d) With the exception of free issued materials, the Construction contractor shall furnish all labour, supervision, equipment, materials and documentation necessary to complete the services in accordance with this Scope of Work, irrespective of whether or not the items are explicitly indicated in this document, where it is clearly the intention that they should be supplied or where they are obviously required to complete the scope specified herein.

(e) The project will be executed in line with the indicative timing below.

• CIP piping Tie in, structural steelwork – prior to 1 May 2026

• Installation of Plate heat Exchanger No.3 and all remaining works – Following the annual shutdown from 15 June 2026.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
