Koala Conservation Reserve Planatation Predator- Exclusion Fence

Contractor to Design, supply, install, and commission a standalone plantation fence with integrated solar ‑ powered electric deterrent system, a floppy ‑ top to reduce possum traversal, and a large ground apron to deter rabbits, hares, possums, and echidnas. Including two vehicular gates, solar powered systems operate independently from existing plantation fencing/power systems.

The objectives to implement plantation fencing at the Koala Conservation Reserve, include the need for the following:

• Effectively manage the threat of abundant wildlife browsing on the curated plantation established to provide supplemental feed and fulfil long term husbandry requirements.
• Design and Install a cost effective, long-lasting, sustainable solution, that ensures long term structural integrity.
• Provide a safe, compliant and accessible protected zone.

Overall, a completed predator exclusion fence by the delivery date.

The purpose of this Invitation is to select a suitably qualified, value for money contractor that will assist the Nature Parks to upgrade our Koala Conservation Reserve fencing.
