Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The primary objective of this grant opportunity is to support Autistic individuals to have safe, secure, meaningful and equitable employment opportunities. The development and promotion of effective autism-specific employment training and resources for the Autistic and autism community, employers and employment providers (across mainstream, open employment, student placements and internships) will improve understanding and awareness of the rights of Autistic people within the workplace.

Autistic adults continue to face challenges in finding and maintaining employment. Greater awareness and understanding of the diverse nature of the autism community is needed to ensure that there are equal opportunities for Autistic people entering and remaining in the workforce.

This initiative aims to advance economic inclusion and workforce participation by ensuring Autistic individuals have equitable access to employment and career development. An inclusive economy enables all members of society to participate fully—as employees, leaders, entrepreneurs, and contributors to their communities. For Autistic people, access to meaningful employment and financial security is essential to improving life outcomes, supporting independence, and enabling participation in society.

Funding will support the development and promotion of activities and resources that enhance understanding and awareness and build the capability of Autistic individuals to navigate employment pathways, as well as strengthen the capacity of employers and employment providers.
