Wurrumiyanga - Replacement of Sewage Ponds Outfall Pipe

The Wurrumiyanga existing sewage pond outfall pipe is unable to discharge high flows during peak demand periods (exacerbated by significant rain events during the wet season) resulting in uncontrolled overflows from the ponds to the environment. This project is to construct a replacement DN300 uPVC outfall pipe from the ponds to the existing point of discharge.

This procurement activity is to engage a Principal Contractor using an open tender approach to construct a new DN300 uPVC sewage pond outfall pipe.

• Construction of approximately 560m of DN300 uPVC SN8 gravity outfall pipe
• Pond rectification works around existing pond outlet
