Maintenance of Network and Infrastructure Fleet - Plant and Equipment

Background

The Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) owned plant, equipment and vehicles require ongoing maintenance for reasons of safety, compliance and efficient operation. The plant, equipment and vehicles have been categorised into “fleet groups” with the intention of awarding multiple contracts. Successful tenderers may be awarded contracts for one or more fleet groups at the PTA’s discretion.

Scope of Services and Specification

The Contractor shall provide suitably trained personnel who will be fully equipped and self-sufficient to carry out services on Network and Infrastructure (N&I) fleet equipment. The Services shall be performed with minimal supervision from PTA Representatives.

This Scope of Services and Specifications is separated into the following fleet groups:

• Group 1 – Heavy vehicles
• Group 2 – Trailers (Single and Dual Axle).
• Group 3 – LPG Forklifts 
• Group 4 – Elevating Work Platforms (EWP);
• Group 5 –Generators (Trailer or vehicle mounted).
• Group 6 – Compressors
• Group 7 – Pressure Washers
• Group 8 – Lighting Towers
• Group 9 – Monopole Trailer and Hydraulic Lifter
• Group 10 – Stand-by Generators

Work allocation is per the fleet group that the contractor is awarded. Contractors will only be responsible for the fleet group that they are awarded.

Each fleet group will only be awarded one contractor; however, a contractor can be awarded multiple fleet groups.
