Independent Cyber Assurance

The Prime Minister & Cabinet is seeking an experienced cyber security professional to provide independent cyber assurance.

The role will:

• Conduct an independent cybersecurity assessment of the program’s cloud architecture, migration plans, and proposed security controls.
• Review compliance with relevant Australian Government security frameworks (e.g., ISM, PSPF, ASD Essential Eight, and cloud security guidance).
• Identify cloud migration-specific vulnerabilities and review proposed data protection measures for protected-level information.
• Evaluate the program’s risk management practices, incident response preparedness, and governance arrangements.
• Review designs relating to security configurations, identity management, and access control practices across the cloud environments.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen security posture, practices and reduce residual risks.
