External Event Organiser for Night Markets in Hurstville 2026

Georges River Council is seeking Expressions of Interest/Proposal (EOI) from qualified and experienced external event organisers to deliver a ten (10) monthly night market series at Hurstville Plaza between March to December 2026.

Services include but not limited to:

• Deliver a consistent monthly night-market program, scheduled on the same day each month, with standardised trading hours (approximately 5:00pm–9:30pm).

• Ensure each market is operated in accordance with relevant Australian and industry standards. safe, well-managed, and enhances the local night-time economy.

• Provide an experience that reflects Hurstville’s multicultural identity and appeals to diverse audiences.

• Strengthen economic participation of local businesses, community groups, and local talent.

• Actively improve stallholder experience, and improve vendor mix quality.

• Support Council’s strategic goal of positioning Hurstville as a destination of choice after dark
