2025 DRFA Restoration Works – Package 3

Burke Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the construction of DRFA restoration works on the below listed roads. Tenderers are to note the separable portions.

2. Town Streets (Burketown & Gregory)

c) Boiling Down Works Road

f) Burketown Rubbish Tip Road

g) Firefly Street

h) Gregory Pump Station Road

i) Gregory Street

j) Lagoon Street

k) Musgrave Street

l) Sloman Street

m) Truganini Road

n) Utilities Road

o) MacIntyre Street

p) Pump Station Road

q) Caretakers Road

r) Gleeson Avenue

s) Gregory Airport Road

t) Murray Avenue

u) Pipeline Road

3. Escott Road

4. Doomadgee East Road (30km to end)

5. Nugaburra Road

6. Five Mile Road (Provisional, if ordered)

7. Mellish Park Road (Provisional, if ordered)

8. Punjaub Road (Provisional, if ordered)

9. Hospital Road (Provisional, if ordered)

The roads must be completed in the order of precedence listed above and dates submitted for completion of each individual road will be listed in the Contract as a milestone date.

Tenderers are to note this contract is indirectly funded by the Commonwealth for the purposes of any applicable schemes/policies which are value driven.

Contract award date: 31st March 2026

Date for practical completion will be confirmed post tender to match the successful tenderers program. No later than 15th June 2026 for separable portion 1. No later than 31st October 2026 for separable portion 2.
