Federation Council is an NSW Local Government Council located south of the Murrumbidgee River and abuts the Murray River, west of the regional city of Albury. It covers an area of 5,685 sq kms. The population at the 2021 census was 12,821. The Council was formed in 2016 following the amalgamation of Urana Council and Corowa Council.
The council has 3 main towns of Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala with populations varying from 2000 to 4500. There are also 7 villages that have Council assets. The council is 140kms from north to south and 60kms east to west.
The main administration centre is located in Corowa with a secondary administration centre located in Urana.
Council is responsible to manage 278 km of Regional Roads and 2,034 Local Roads.
Federation Council invites experienced, qualified and accredited stabilisation contractors to submit a quotation for the part stabilisation of Young Street Daysdale (3,500sqm) as described in Schedule 1 below, and shown in the over-head map included on the last page of the RFQ.

The successful Contractor will be responsible for undertaking all necessary work to meet the requirements outlined in this RFQ.
A site visit for accurate quotations is recommended.
· Submission Requirements
Quotations must be submitted by the closing date and time and must include:
Proposed methodology for undertaking the full field service for works is detailed in the attached Schedule and shown in the over-head map included on the last page of the RFQ.
Square meter rates must include all proposed costs, including all site set-up, labour, plant and equipment, materials, aftercare, travel, and any other associated expenses as listed below. Traffic control and Supervision are listed as separate line items in Schedule 1.
- Company profile and a list of key personnel who will be working on the project, including their qualifications and relevant experience.
- Evidence of public liability (20 million minimum) and workers compensation certificate.
- References from at least two similar projects completed within the last three years
