Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider

The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified service to provide an Employee Assistance Program where staff can access professional support services when experiencing a crisis or as a proactive measure to avoid a crisis.

Council operates a current Employee Assistance Program utilising a national organisation with 24/7 access to of appropriately qualified and credentialed psychologists. The current service focuses on online and telephone counselling services via individual appointment.

Council is seeking to adjust the current user experience to provide more face-to face appointments, while also ensuring timeliness and accessibility of the counselling services outside of standard working hours. The current model also includes a range of wellbeing and value add initiatives via multiple user channels including diet and nutrition support, legal referral support, budgeting and financial support. Council is also looking to increase support to staff in response to any exposure to traumatic events or material and occupational violence and agrgression.
