Tender ID: 602405
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Networking for Cancer Equity grant program supports innovative, collaborative models that strengthen networks and partnerships to improve access to comprehensive cancer care for people living in outer-metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote areas.
The aim of the program is to enhance equity in cancer care by activating the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN) and improving coordination between cancer services nationally. This includes supporting care closer to home for people outside metropolitan areas, as well as priority populations identified in the Australian Cancer Plan, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The program funds partnerships between smaller health services and larger cancer services to build connectivity, share expertise, and deliver culturally safe, high-quality cancer care. Successful applicants must be registered members of the ACCN and commit to the Standards of Excellence for networked comprehensive cancer care applicable to their service type.
Grants of up to $250,000 each will be awarded, with activities delivered between April 2026 and June 2027.
The program aligns with priority actions in the Australian Cancer Plan.
