SWTAFE - Hamilton Multipurpose Training Facility

Project Summary

South West TAFE is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) from suitably experienced and qualified commercial building contractors (Head Contractor) to deliver the construction of a new Multipurpose Training Facility by July 2026. This new facility will be located at South West TAFE’s Hamilton Campus (Hamilton, Victoria) and will primarily be used for the delivery of industry training. The contract will be under a Design & Construct (D&C) methodology, with scope expected to include:

• Finalisation of design to 100% IFC (currently at 75-80%) including design meetings and user group input required to finalise and obtain stakeholder and principal sign off.
• Obtaining of all permits and approvals necessary to undertake the works, including building permit and engagement of Relevant Building Surveyor.
• Engagement and management of all required subcontractors to deliver the works.
• Construction of new training facility/building, including all services connections and external training pad (refer to design drawings provided).
• Pricing of any Tender Options as defined within the final RFT documentation.

• ATN Release Date: 11th December 2025 (closed)
• ATN Close Date: 14th January 2026 (closed)
• RFT Release Date: 2nd February 2026
• RFT Close Date: 23rd February 2026
• Contract Award: 13th March 2026

This tender will close on Monday 23rd February at 3pm.
