Request for Information for ATC Training Systems and Services

Scope:

This RFI invites responses that may address:

• Traditional simulator solutions, including hardware replacement, software platforms, and ongoing support arrangements and/or;

• Holistic training delivery models, such as service-based solutions that encompass infrastructure, content, instruction and support (or similar)

Airservices is open to exploring a range of delivery approaches, including hybrid or holistic service-based models. The envisioned ecosystem should leverage advanced technologies, scalable infrastructure and contemporary commercial arrangements to deliver training that meets or exceeds current standards while offering greater flexibility and adaptability.

In addition to technical capability, Airservices is particularly interested in solutions that demonstrate financial efficiency, long term sustainability, scalability and alignment with regulatory requirements. The goal is to ensure value for money while equipping our workforce with the skills required to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving airspace environment.

This RFI document provides background information and outlines preliminary concepts to initiate engagement with interested parties. It is intended solely for information gathering purposes and does not constitute a commitment by Airservices to enter into any contractual arrangement.

Airservices will not be liable for any costs, compensation, or expenses incurred by respondents in preparing or submitting a response to this RFI.

Following analysis of the responses received, Airservices may seek internal approval to further explore specific applications, products, services, methodologies or systems that demonstrate potential to support the delivery of ATC Training in Australia.

Airservices reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether to proceed with a subsequent process following this RFI. If such a process is initiated, details regarding its type, scope and nature will be communicated to selected parties invited to participate.
