Aeronautical Information Production System (AIPS) In-Service Support
Scope:
The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to state the Commonwealth requirements for work to be carried out under the Contract relating to the provision of Services to support the Products Being Supported, and to allocate work responsibilities between the Commonwealth and the Contractor.
The SOW consists of two Elements:
Element A. Maintenance and Engineering Support of the existing Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) Suite (not replacing the OEM IDS-AirNAV) – which includes provision of Field Services Representatives and assistance with testing and deploying updates to the AIM Suite. In addition, supplying the equivalent capability of two bespoke applications developed by IDS-AU (to which IDS-AU owns the IP). These are the AusDAFIF Merge Tool (AMT) and the AMT Filter Builder; and
Element B. Support of the non-AIM Suite elements (non-exhaustive list, reference RFT document 70760_01_AIPS 2025_Att A Ann A Products Being Supported), including:
- Applications – MDA Systems’ ACE applications, Bentley Microstation, Safe Software’s FME, Manage Engine, Hexagon Geospatial, and Altova XM Spy;
- Management of back end servers and virtualisation under warranty;
- Level 2 and Level 3 help desk support for non-AIM Suite issues with details logged in AIS-AF’s Jira instance;
- Provide services as required to meet AIS-AF requirements associated with configuration management support, engineering investigations, and preparation of reports; and
- Management of installed hardware, noting the provision of hardware is out of scope
The Contractor shall perform all activities necessary for the provision of Services associated with supporting the Products in accordance with the Contract, including:
a. provision of Management Services;
b. Operating Support Services – NOT USED;
c. provision of Engineering Services;
d. provision of Maintenance Services;
e. Supply Services – NOT USED;
f. provision of Training Services;
g. provision and support of Support Resources;
h. Quality Management; and
i. Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

Tenderer must have DISP membership at Level 1 at the time of tender lodgement.
Tenderer must have personnel holding the necessary security clearances at the time of tender lodgement.
