East Gippsland Aquatic Strategy

East Gippsland Shire Council is commissioning the development of a new East Gippsland Aquatic Strategy to guide future investment, service delivery, and infrastructure planning across the Shire’s aquatic facilities.

This project will also include a peer review of the existing East Gippsland Aquatic Strategy 2015 to assess its relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with current community needs and strategic priorities.

The East Gippsland Shire has four aquatic and recreation facilities in four different townships - Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance and Orbost.

The facilities include:

• Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre (BARC)

• Lakes Entrance Aquadome (Aquadome)

• Bairnsdale Outdoor Pool (BOP)

• Orbost Outdoor Pool (OOP)
