Carer Support Networks – South Division

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the Department) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to establish and pilot Carer Networks in South division.

Carer Networks aim to provide additional support for home-based (foster and kinship) carers, to improve quality of care, improve placement stability and wellbeing outcomes for children, and promote carer wellbeing and retention.

Location:

The South Division comprises four Areas: Bayside Peninsula, Inner Gippsland, Outer Gippsland, and Southern Melbourne and spans across 16 Local Government Areas with an estimated population of 1,927,387 people. Of this, 19,257 people identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (source: ABS data 30 June 2021).
