Finance & Billing – Implementation and Migration Project

Southern Rural Water is intending to release a Tender for Finance & Billing – Implementation and Migration Project.

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

Replacing current TechnologyOne (FinanceOne modules) with a modern, integrated Microsoft Business Central platform that supports financial management, billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, reporting and digital service delivery.

The scope remit entails services only including implementation and migration activities, and not procurement of licenses.

Whilst the solution preference might be MS Business Central, other solution providers are encouraged to participate and respond against how their solution caters to the needs of the below in-scope items for a small-to-medium size organisation.

High-Level In Scope Items:

• Finance core modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Register).
• Billing/Property & Rating module including Billing processes (metered usage, subscriptions, one-off fees).
• Integrations with IT and OT systems such as Asset Management Systems, Customer data, Water registry , and any associated cloud & integration architecture, infrastructure and engineering work.
• Reporting & dashboards (financial, operational, compliance), and any associated work such as data architecture and configuration of Data analytics platform.
• Data migration, data archival, data cleansing and reconciliation from legacy systems.
• Change management, training and user enablement.
• Solutioning on additional plug-ins where required; customisations; or external software
• Ongoing support beyond out of the box capabilities of Business Central
