Hamilton Road Upgrade 1C

The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a suitably qualified contractor(s) to provide the goods and services to undertake the construction of Stage 1C of the South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub Masterplan.

The key components of this initial stage include:

Hamilton Road Layout Alternation: Hamilton Road, South Hedland is a critical route within the Town of Port Hedland. The purpose of the alternation is to optimise traffic flow, enhance road safety and accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic volumes due to the Hedland Sports and Arts Precinct Developments.

Roundabout Construction: As part of the road layout alteration, the construction of roundabouts is a vital element of this phase. These roundabouts will serve as traffic control measures to facilitate the seamless movement of vehicles, enhance safety at key intersections and reduce congestion.

Entrance Enhancement to South Hedland: Beyond the road improved, the project also includes an extensive landscaping and planting element to transform the entrance into South Hedland.
