Legal Services for the Local Government Sector – Request for Tender

MAV Procurement, on behalf of Victorian councils, is undertaking a public tender for the provision of Legal Services for the Local Government Sector (MAV-LS6931-26).

To meet the needs of local government, this Request for Tender (RFT) invites responses from Service Providers specialising in the following categories:

• Category 1 – Administrative, Local Government, Governance and Human Resources
• Category 2 – Construction
• Category 3 – Technology and Intellectual Property
• Category 4 – Planning and Environment
• Category 5 – Property and Leasing
• Category 6 – Community Health and Local Laws
• Category 7 – Commercial
• Category 8 – Litigation and Enforcement

It is anticipated that up to a maximum of ten (10) Service Providers will be appointed to each of the above Categories under the MAV-LS6931-26 panel contract. Contracts will be awarded to the Service Providers achieving the highest overall evaluation scores in each Category.

The contract term will be for an initial five (5) year term with one (1) five (5) year extension at the discretion of the MAV.
