Mummery Rd footpath construction, Myrtleford

The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of an important 1.5km footpath link along Mummery Road in Myrtleford from Undara Road to Tarrengower Court. The new footpath link will provide a much needed safe passage for pedestrian traffic along Mummery Road connecting newer residential areas into Myrtleford’s existing footpath network.

A brief scope of works includes the following

• Site establishment

• Provision for traffic and environmental management

• Modifications to existing drainage headwalls, pipes and table drains to allow for new path

• Vegetation trimming and removal including dead tree stumps

• Additional Earthworks in areas to create level route for path, Approx 261m in length

• Approximately 1.5km of base preparation and asphalt path construction in total

• Base preparation and sealing at 17 driveway crossings

• General reinstatement works
