Calala WTP SCA2 Civil and Structural Work

This Project involves improving egress and access to Tamworth's Calala Water Treatment Plant SCA2 switch room.

Contractors are required to attend a mandatory pre-tender site inspection meeting, on 27 November 2025.

General works scope include:

DOOR 'D1'

1. Cut into and make secure opening in masonry wall for D1.

2. Supply and install door frames including sealing for D1.

3. Supply and install door frame including specified door hardware to NCC requirement. Door to have internal panic bars, self-closer & lockable from external entry.

4. Supply and install landing footings, platform structure, handrail & stairs.

5. Supply and install weather awning for D1.

DOOR 'D2'

1. Remove existing roller door and metal framing.

2. Supply and install door frame including sealing for framework.

3. Supply and install double doors D2 as shown including specified hardware to NCC requirements. Door to have internal panic bars, self-closer & lockable from external entry.

4. Supply and install landing footings, platform structure, handrail & stairs.

5. Supply and install wall girts for lining and cladding.

6. Supply external colorbond cladding including weather.

7. Supply & install internal cfc lining including jointing, seal/undercoat and 2 topcoats.

LOCALISED CIVIL WORKS

1. Remove organic material in footpath footprint.

2. Proof roll and condition sub-base material to form a compacted, flat and level base.

3. Supply, place & level 50mm sand/crusher dust base course.

4. Supply & place n32 concrete path as shown including all formwork, reinforcement, vapour

Barrier & joints as shown.

5. Supply and install protection barriers.

6. All door framing to be painted as per as5130 acl1 requirements.
