Construction of Wombat Crossing, High Street, Ararat

The Ararat Rural City Council is tendering for construction of raised safety platform in High Street, Ararat to improve pedestrian crossing safety in this precinct. Work location is in High Street between High Street (Western Highway) and Ingor Street, Ararat.

The project requires the removal and disposal of existing kerb, laying of concrete kerb and pavement, asphalt works, landscaping and associated drainage works, in accordance with the tender schedules, drawings and specification.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all labour, materials, plant hire, freight, fees and other sundry expenses required to complete the works.

 The contractor is required to obtain all necessary permits, i.e. working in road reserve (no fee applicable), service authority approvals, etc. prior to work commencing.

Council hereby invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of raised safety platform in High Street, Ararat.
