Bridge Retransom on Northeast Line

ABOUT THE RFT:

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking tenders from competent contractors to provide materials and services to undertake BRIDGE RETRANSOM ON NORTHEAST LINE

SCOPE:

Contractor scope of works to provide all labour, plant/equipment, services (safeworking, surveying, traffic management) and materials for the works except nominated ARTC supplied materials/resources for each project. 

• Replace existing transoms with FFU transoms over six bridges as below:
• Removal and disposal of existing transoms including packers, hold down bolts, etc.
• Contractor to install 150mm thick transoms
• Install pre-drilled SA47 rubber pads and HDPE packer between transoms and top flange of girders. SA47 rubber pads to be secured to the underside of transoms with 2 nos Bugle screws (G14) to prevent rotation. Packers’ heights to be determined by survey which will be provided by Contractor.
• De-stressing the Up and Down tracks of six (6) bridges
• Resurfacing the Up and Down tracks of six (6) bridges in preparation for lifting the track

SUBMISSIONS:

Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box. This Tender uses one(1) tender boxes. The first tenderer document "07688 Part 1" is to be used to submit Section B Part 1 Commercial and Section B Part 2 Technical Schedules and all other Tender documentation into tender box 1.

Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
