Supply and Installation of Pedestrian Fencing

Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for T048-2026, Supply and Installation of Pedestrian Fencing in Tamworth NSW.

This tender is a Quality Assurance contract with method of payment being Schedule of Rates.

The scope of work comprises supply and installation of Transport for NSW Type 1 pedestrian fencing in black, at 3 sites in Tamworth NSW. More detail about the scope is provided in the tender documents. The total length of fencing is approximately 760 metres. 4 gates are also required of similar material, and able to be secured in the open and closed position.

The contract is in the form of an amended AS4000 and is in 2 separable portions being:

1. Carthage Street, East Tamworth, practical completion date 23 January 2026

2. Jack Smyth Drive and Ringers Road sites, Hillvue, practical completion date by 29 September 2026 (and possibly earlier) and will be confirmed with the successful contractor.

There is no compulsory pre-tender briefing meeting, however tenderers are still required to familarise themselves with the sites.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any submission and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
