Cardboard & Paper Recycling Collection at Waste Transfer Stations

In an effort to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill council is requesting submissions to provide suitable front lift bins and a collection service for cardboard and paper recycling at transfer stations throughout the shire. Servicing will be required on a weekly basis for a 12-month service agreement period.

Banana Shire Council is committed to aligning with national and state policies and targets, that support the move towards zero waste and net zero emissions.

Sites and frequencies required are listed below:

1. BSC Administration Building - 1 x 3m bin serviced monthly - Address – 62 Valentine Plains Rd, Biloela

2. Thangool Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 7 Cocks Millard Road, Thangool

3. Jambin Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 172 Jambin-Goovigen Road, Jambin

4. Wowan Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 10 Wowan Bore Road, Wowan

5. Baralaba Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 60 Eric Hamilton Road, Baralaba

6. Banana Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 75 Barfield Road, Banana

7. Theodore Waste Transfer Station - 2 x 3m bin serviced weekly - Address - 48 Goolaara-Heinekes Road, Theodore

8. Moura Waste Transfer Station - 4 x 4m bin serviced weekly - Address - 18776 Dawson Highway, Moura
