Monkerai Tunnel Cable Route Upgrade

ABOUT THE RFT:

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking tenders from competent contractors to provide materials and services to undertake Monkerai Tunnel Cable Route Upgrade

SCOPE:

Construction, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Certification, and handover including supply of all materials for the Signalling and Civil works unless noted. The works shall be undertaken in accordance with ARTC Standards, Australian Standards, Guidelines, Network Rules & Regulations, Policies and Procedures.

Specific work under the contract shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following tasks:

1. Equipment and materials supply, collection, distribution and preparation works;

2. Rail safe working plans, controls and measures;

3. Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Certification of signalling and track equipment in accordance with ARTC Standards and Guidelines;

4. Construction of civil works in accordance with ARTC Standards and Guidelines;

5. Protection of existing infrastructure, including cess drains, and prevention or tidy up of fouling from debris, spillages etc., as a result of work activities;

6. Locating of existing buried and overhead services;

7. Certification of the work by the Commissioning Engineer prior to completion of the track occupancy period (if required under ARTC standards);

8. Certification of track by Contractors Track Examiner (PW52/53) if track formation or shoulders are disturbed;

9. Site clean-up and demobilisation;

10. Disposal of redundant materials and equipment in accordance with state legislation;

11. Corrections to defective work attributed to the Contractor’s workmanship;

12. As-Built documentations (MWP and DSS) as required by ARTC Standards that the work has been completed in accordance with ARTC Standards within the specified tolerances;

13. Provision of traffic management, plans and labour as required,

14. All other services required to deliver the works that have not been identified as supplied or provided by ARTC.

SUBMISSIONS:

Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box . This Tender uses one(1) tender boxes. The first tenderer document "07678 Part 1" is to be used to submit Section B Part 1 Commercial and Section B Part 2 Technical Schedules and all other Tender documentation into tender box 2.
