Kingston City Council (Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of the G.R. Bricker Reserve Stormwater Harvesting and Reuse System.
The project involves the diversion of flows from Melbourne Waters main drain, treatment of stormwater via a vegetated filtration basin, storage in an underground tank, and subsequent pumping, UV disinfection, and reuse for irrigation of the Bricker Reserve sports oval and surrounding open space. The works also include associated civil, mechanical, electrical, and landscaping elements, as well as tree removal and reinstatement.
