Pre-Qualified Suppliers of Wet Hire of Plant and Equipment

Flinders Shire Council (the Principal) invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for selection as a pre-qualified supplier of wet hire plant as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.

The register of pre-qualified suppliers is intended to cover all wet hire plant and equipment which the Principal may require from time to time, including but not limited to:

• Articulated dump truck, Backhoe, Concrete agitator, Dozer, Elevated work platform, Excavator, Float, Forklift, Grader, Knuckle boom, Loader, Paver, Profiler, Rollers (multi tyred, Smooth drum, pad foot), Scissor lift, Scraper, Semi-water truck, Side Tipping Truck (single, double, triple), Skid steer, Spreader truck, Stabiliser, Sweeper, Tilt tray, Tipping truck, Tractor/slasher, Truck, Vacuum truck/trailer, Water truck/trailer.

Respondents do not need to be able to provide all of the Plant and Equipment in Part 5 – Scope and are encouraged to respond if they can service any one or more of those activities.

The appointment as a pre-qualified supplier will commence on 1 January 2026 and end on 31 December 2028 (‘Term’). The Principal may extend the Term, at its discretion, for a further period of up to 12 months by giving written notice to successful Tenderers. The Principal may also, during the Term, conduct a further procurement process to appoint other suppliers.
