Tender Description
Council has an ongoing duty to maintain unsealed roads and roadside drainage in an adequate condition in line with the Road Management Plan. As part of the 10-year capital works program, Council has identified five road locations: Glen Creek Road, Church Street, New Street, Hearns Road intersection and sections of Hearns Road and Chapel Hill Road as suitable locations for sealing to improve road safety, reduce ongoing maintenance requirements, and decrease dust levels for residents.
Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to undertake site preparation and sealing works including site clearing, drain definition, removing, installing new crossover pipes, culverts, pits, and applying two coat emulsion seal and / or asphalting with line marking as per standards.
