Grounds Maintenance Services for Sport and Recreation Centres

Project goals

The grounds maintenance services required by the Office are aligned with the following objectives:

a) Secure the supply of grounds maintenance services across all sites for the next 5 years.

b) Ensure business continuity and assurance for Centres.

c) Achieve operational efficiencies, including flexibility to scale up and down.

d) Improved management of grounds maintenance through use of technology and in accordance with Australian Standards and best horticultural practices.

e) Compliance with modern slavery obligations.

g) Avoid reputational damage as a result of not having well-presented and fit for purpose facilities.

h) Achieve cost savings where available.

Scope

Centres in scope are:

• Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre
• Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre
• Lake Ainsworth Sport and Recreation Centre
• Point Wolstoncroft Sport and Recreation Centre
• Berry Sport and Recreation Centre
• Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre
• Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre
• Lake Keepit Sport and Recreation Centre

Additional details/instructions

Please be advised that a briefing and site visit will be held for each of the Centres.

The exact dates for these briefings will be confirmed via an addendum. The times for each session are as published in Part A – Conditions of Tendering.

Tenderers are encouraged to monitor updates and ensure availability for the scheduled times once dates are released.
